NECK LIPOSUCTION
En Lima, Perú
Unwanted fat deposits on your face may not reflect the health or vitality you feel inside. People who are bothered by excess fat in the neck known as the "double chin" are candidates for neck liposuction, also known as cervicofacial liposuction or cervical liposuction.

LIPOSCULPTURE PROCEDURE
Liposuction is particularly suitable for people who are of relatively normal weight but have areas of fat accumulation that make certain areas of their body appear disproportionate. While it is possible to undergo liposuction at almost any age, you will get the best results if your skin still has enough elasticity to achieve a smooth contour after fat removal. Liposuction should not be considered a substitute for general weight loss, nor is it an effective treatment for cellulite. Liposuction can be performed on several areas of the body at the same time, and can also be performed in conjunction with other aesthetic plastic surgeries.
LIPOSCULPTURE RECOVERY
After liposuction and throughout the first month, you should wear a girdle and massage the treated area to control inflammation and help the skin adapt to the new contour. As for possible discomfort, it will depend on the region treated and the extent. Lymphatic drainage massages should be performed twice a week for the first two months to facilitate recovery.
Normal activities can be resumed two days after the operation except for physical exercise, which must wait a month. It is important to avoid the sun during the first two months so that dark spots do not form on the skin.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE GETTING A LIPOSCULPTURE
A prior medical examination is essential to detect any possible anomaly that could contraindicate the operation. During the consultation your health status will be evaluated and your expectations will be listened to. It will be determined in which places on the body fat accumulates and the approximate volume to be extracted will be calculated, always taking into account the quality of the skin in the area to be intervened.
If you are a smoker and wish to have liposuction, you should abstain from smoking for at least two weeks before and two weeks after the procedure, as tobacco negatively affects healing. If you are taking any type of medication, it is very important that you inform the surgeon before the operation.
